Examples of cases the firm has handled on behalf of individuals include: 
Police Misconduct
The firm represented two young men who were beaten and falsely arrested by police officers. During the course of the arrest, the police officers destroyed religious artifacts and uttered racial slurs. The case resolved after a summary jury trial for an agreed upon judgment of $100,000.00. 

Police Misconduct
The firm represented a client whose arm was twisted and fractured by a private security officer during the course of an arrest. The case settled for $125,000.00. 

Police Misconduct
An elderly client was assaulted and arrested for asserting his 1st Amendment Freedom of Speech Rights when he complained loudly to a police officer that a snowplow had broken his business window. The case settled after a summary jury trial for $35,500.00. 

Police Misconduct
The firm represented a client who was punched in the eye by a police officer in retaliation for a prior successful civil rights lawsuit against the same police officer. The client was awarded $100,000.00 after a trial on damages. 

Police Misconduct
The firm represented a union employee who was struck by a police officer and falsely arrested after he yelled “scab” while on a picket line. After a jury trial, the total award including attorneys’ fees was over $100,000.00. 

Police Misconduct
The firm represented several family members of an auto accident victim, who were standing in the street at the scene of the accident. When they refused to leave the scene, police officers falsely arrested them. All charges were dismissed. The case settled for $75,000.00. 

Wrongful Termination & Retaliation
The firm represented a client who was terminated for complaining to his employer about unsafe working conditions. The case settled for $125,000.00. 

Gender Discrimination, Sexual Harassment & Retaliation
The firm represented a client who was sexually harassed and subject to gender discrimination by two supervisors at work. When the client complained about the sexual harassment and discrimination, the supervisors began a retaliatory campaign of harassment, which culminated in a constructive termination. The case settled at mediation for $150,000.00. 

Pregnancy Discrimination
The firm represented a client who was admittedly passed over for a promotion because she was pregnant, despite being the most qualified. The case settled for $60,000.00. 

Disability Discrimination
The firm represented a client who was terminated from employment due to a disability. The case settled for $100,000.00. 

Race Discrimination
The firm represented an African-American client who quit his job after a direct supervisor called him a racially derogatory name. The case settled for $30,000.00. 

Race Discrimination
The firm represented an African-American man who applied for a municipal job. Despite the fact that he was the most qualified applicant, and scored the highest on all tests and the interview process, two less qualified Caucasian males were hired. The case settled for $100,000.00. 

Sexual Harassment
The firm represented a client who was terminated when she threatened to file a complaint with the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination because her direct supervisor repeatedly requested that she have sex with him. A judgment entered for $50,000.00. 

Sexual Harassment
The firm represented a client who was repeatedly subject to sexual leering and sexually probing questions about her relationship with her husband by her supervisor. The case settled for $60,000.00.
